GET TO KNOW AMANDA
Amanda is an artist and researcher. She is empathy-focused and motivated by opportunities to advocate for and amplify the subject matter she stands behind. She thrives in work that is both technical and creative, independent and collaborative.Amanda prioritizes work that approaches intersectional issues with equitable solutions. She looks to combine arts with responsive community development and justice.Throughout her dynamic, interdisciplinary early career, Amanda has written, recorded, produced, and toured a full-length album with her band (Devlin et. al). She has conducted multiple summer-long field research projects in ecology in Ecuador, New Jersey, and Massachusetts. She has worked on sound design and film scoring projects with various film groups. She has assisted with live sound at Outside Lands Music Festival and produced hundreds of concerts & events at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music. She also recently received a certificate from UC Berkeley certificate in UX/UI Research & Design.On days off, you can find Amanda exploring the outdoors, collaborating with other musicians, and cheering on her plants.
